Philippine Birdwings Now Available to Overseas Customers

Insect Designs received received some lovely Trogonoptera trojana pairs (pairs of these are hard to get) and Troides rhadamantus pairs from the Philippines. These are now available to our international customers. Unfortunately we are not able to send these to the USA as the extra paperwork required other than CITES permits make it too costly for us to send them there.

New Specimens from Indonesia

Insect Designs has just been updated with some new specimens and restocks from Indonesia, including some rarely offered Chilasa paradoxa from Java. Only four of these are available.

African Singles Page Updated

The African Singles page at Insect Designs has just been updated with some interesting specimens from Cameroon. There are more than 100 specimens available, mostly unidentified, and the photo for each one is of the actual specimen being offered for sale.

Fresh Material from Peru Available Now

Insect Designs has just received a parcel from Peru. All of the specimens are available in the store now. You will find quite a few restocked Morphos, as well as fresh Cithaereas aurorina from Iquitos and Marpesia petreus from Tingo Maria. Fresh Beetles from Tanzania

Insect Designs has just been updated with some fresh beetles from Tanzania, including Manticora latipennis and a variety of flower beetles.

Fresh Parcel from Madagascar

Insect Designs has just received a fresh parcel from Madagascar containing some restocks and some lovely new specimens. Of special note are the cute Trachelophorus giraffa and the rare Papilio mangoura and Charaxes cowani. We also have some fresh Argema mittrei pairs, Urania ripheus, Salamis duprei, Papilio demodocus, Sumptuosa gemma and Sumptuosa superba.

 

 

Birdwing Butterflies from the Philippines

Insect Designs has just received some Troides rhadamantus pairs and Trogonoptera trojana pairs from the Philippines. Whilst we wait for our re-export permit to arrive (this normally takes about a month) these specimens will only be available to our Australian customers. We will put another note here when the permit has arrived and we can ship internationally.
