Single Peruvian Riodinidae and Lycaenidae now Available

Hello Everyone

Many of you will be pleased to know that the really nice unidentified Riodinidae and Lycaenidae specimens that were recently received from Peru are now available as single specimens as well as the mixed lots that were previously advertised. You will find the single specimens in a new section at the bottom of the Riodinidae and Lycaenidae pages on the web site. The photographs in the singles section are of the actual specimens you will be purchasing. These sections will be regularly updated with new specimens as others are sold.

Hello Everyone

Insect Designs has just received some very nice Lycaenidae and Riodinidae species from Peru. These are being sold as mixed lots of 5 A1 specimens. This is a good way of getting many hard to obtain specimens.

Also available is 1 rare Morpho phanodemus cisseis form with mixed blue and yellow. Very nice!

A Young Entomologist Shows off her New Collection

Lydia and her grandmother put together a really nice collection of framed specimens using some local insects and insects purchased from Insect Designs. It's really wonderful to see young people these days who are more interested in nature than computer games.

Both singles pages at Insect Designs have been updated with some interesting specimens from Tanzania and Cameroon. The photos on the African Singles page and Single Beetles page are of the actual specimens being offered. I have not identified many of the items being offered, so you may find something that's hard to get at a great price.
